2015 has been a phenomenal year for movies. So far we’ve enjoyed fantastic films that we think will remain on top of our all time favourite list for a long time. This includes blockbusters such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World, and Spectre.
We can’t see anything topping these movies but since we’re only just in November, there is still time for more to make their way onto our list.
2015 hasn’t failed to deliver yet and we’re excited to see what the remaining two months have in store for all us movie buffs. Here are just some of the films that are already on our ‘must watch’ list.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (November 19th)
The much anticipated conclusion to The Hunger Games series lands in theatres this November and we’re both excited and a little sad. Whilst we can’t wait to watch the movie, it’s upsetting that this will be the last time that we get to see Katniss and the other characters on the big screen.
The final movie sees a revolution being carried out by Katniss and the rest of District 13, against the Capital and President Snow. This will be harder than anything that they faced in the arena – the future of Panem is at stake.
Team Gale or Team Peeta? This film will finally answer the question to who has Katniss’s heart.
The Good Dinosaur (November 27th)
Disney PIXAR is back with another animated movie that is set to take the world by storm. The Good Dinosaur was meant to be released last year but Disney didn’t think it was quite ready, so they did more work on the film and held back the release date for a whole year.
The film looks at what the world would be like if dinosaurs had never become extinct. It follows the young Apatosaurus Arlo who sadly loses his father to a tragic accident. After suffering an accident himself, he finds himself miles from home, and must try to find his way back home.
We think this one will be hit with both children and adults!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (December 17th)
Could this be the biggest release of the year? How about the biggest release of the decade? We know that a LOT of people are extremely excited for it.
The seventh instalment in the Star Wars film series, this movie has been eagerly awaited for a very long time. It’s set around 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, and features both new and old characters.
Very few plot details are known, which is both a good and bad thing for fans. Luckily, they don’t have long to wait!
The new film has a lot to live up to but we’re excited to see how JJ Abrams has delved into this world created by George Lucas.
Whilst we’re eagerly looking forward to the next few months, we also think it’s important to look back. We love looking back at our own home movies and we want to make it easy for you to do so, too.
As specialists in transferring old video to DVD, we can help bring your old memories back to life. We believe that everyone should have the chance to rewatch important recollections from their past, which is why we convert all your older film formats.
